Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, make a purchase, subscribe to communications, contact support, or participate in surveys. This may include your name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses, account information, preferences, purchase history, and reviews.
Payment details are submitted to the payment providers offered at checkout. AudioVideoNation does not intentionally store complete card numbers in its application databases. For B2B accounts we may collect company name, tax ID, and business contact details.
When you use our site we automatically collect IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring source, and cookie/tracking data to operate and improve the service.
How We Use Information
We use your information to process and fulfill orders, arrange shipping, send confirmations, process payments and refunds, manage returns and warranties, and provide customer support. Order-related use is necessary for the contract and cannot be opted out while an order is active.
With your consent we use data for marketing (emails, offers, product recommendations). You can opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link or account settings. We also use data to improve the site (analytics, navigation, search, fraud prevention).
SMS/Text Marketing
If you opt in to our SMS program (AudioVideoNation Alerts), we send recurring automated marketing text messages such as cart reminders, restock alerts, order-related reminders, and exclusive offers to the mobile number you provide. You opt in by checking the optional SMS checkbox at checkout; consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency is up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message, and get assistance by replying HELP or contacting our support team. After you reply STOP, we will send one final message confirming your opt-out and will not send further marketing texts unless you opt in again.
Mobile opt-in data is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that deliver our text messages on our behalf.
When you opt in, we record consent evidence — including the date and time, the exact consent language shown, your IP address, and your browser user-agent — so we can honor and demonstrate your consent choices. See the SMS Program Terms for the full program terms.
Your Rights & Protection
We use HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and limit access to personal information based on operational need. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information. To submit a request, use your account settings or contact our Privacy Team. We verify and respond to requests within the time required by applicable law, and may retain information when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
Data Sharing
We disclose information to service providers when needed to process payments, fulfill and ship orders, send communications, provide customer service, measure site performance, prevent fraud, and operate advertising. Those providers process information under their own terms and our applicable agreements.
Privacy rights and the legal meaning of “sale” or “sharing” vary by jurisdiction. Use the available cookie controls or contact our Privacy Team to ask about applicable opt-out rights or to submit a privacy request.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). If we discover we have collected such data we will delete it, close the account, and notify a parent if possible. We comply with COPPA and, in the EU, with parental consent requirements for under-16s. Parents may contact privacy@audiovideonation.com with concerns.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including active accounts, order fulfillment, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, support, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. Marketing preferences are updated when an unsubscribe request is processed.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. When required, we will provide notice through the site, email, or another appropriate channel. The current version is dated July 16, 2026.
