Key Features
The Philips L-Line 7000 Series 22BDL7224L/00 is an indoor LED signage cabinet for modular displays that can be linked across different shapes and sizes. Its 500 x 250 mm face, 2:1 aspect ratio, and landscape placement make it suitable for building wide-format LED surfaces from multiple cabinets. A 2.4 mm pixel pitch, 208 x 104 cabinet resolution, and wide colour gamut display support detailed visual presentation, while 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles make content visible across a broad viewing area.
This cabinet combines calibrated image performance with a compact die-cast aluminium structure. Brightness is rated at 1200 nits before calibration and 900 nits after calibration, with brightness uniformity of at least 97%. Typical contrast is 3500:1. Brightness and colour calibration are supported, and the colour temperature can be adjusted from 4000 to 9500 K around a default setting of 6500 ±500 K. These controls provide a defined set of parameters for configuring linked cabinets to a chosen visual profile.
Each cabinet contains 21,632 dots in a 208 x 104 arrangement. The LED modules use SMD 1515 copper-wire LEDs with a 1R1G1B pixel constitution. The specified LED lifetime is 100,000 hours at half brightness.
The 500 x 250 x 40 mm cabinet weighs 3.4 kg and has a 0.125 m² cabinet area. Its die-cast aluminium construction, guide pins, and listed lightweight installation characteristics support cabinet handling and alignment. The cabinet has a 22-inch diagonal and a 90-degree side angle. Two 249.9 x 249.9 mm modules are represented by the cabinet’s 208 x 104 resolution, with each module providing 104 x 104 pixels.
Data and signal-control loop-through connections use RJ45. One NovaStar A5S Plus receiving card is installed in each cabinet. Power connects through a three-core socket, and the input range is AC 100–240 V. Power loop-through supports up to 16 cabinets in 230 V environments or up to eight cabinets in 110 V environments, subject to a 10 A maximum. Maximum daisy-chain current is also specified at 10 A.
The package includes one quick-start guide, two power cables, and one RJ45 CAT-5 LAN cable.
The display supports a refresh-rate range of 2100–3900 Hz and frame frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz. Image specifications include wide colour gamut presentation, 3500:1 typical contrast, adjustable colour temperature, and brightness and colour calibration. The 160-degree viewing angles apply both horizontally and vertically.
Typical power consumption is listed below 21.67 W, with maximum AC consumption below 65 W. Black-screen consumption is below 9 W, while maximum BC consumption is below 85 W. The specified operating temperature range is 20–45 °C with 10–80% relative humidity. Storage specifications are 20–50 °C and 10–85% relative humidity.
The L-Line 7000 Series is designed around seamless linking and multiple cabinet-size possibilities, allowing LED signage to extend beyond a single fixed display format. This model pairs its 2.4 mm pixel pitch with a shallow 40 mm cabinet depth and a 3.4 kg cabinet weight. Conformal coating is specified for the hub board and the back side of the LED module.
Listed regulatory approvals include EN55032, EN55035, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, IEC/UL60950, IEC/UL62368, IEC62471, RoHS, and FCC SDOC Part 15 Class A. Fire-retardancy certifications include BS 476 Part 7:1997, UL94, and DIN4102-1.
The 22BDL7224L/00 is a modular indoor LED cabinet with clearly specified imaging, cabinet, power, and integration characteristics. Its 208 x 104 resolution, 2.4 mm pixel pitch, 900-nit calibrated brightness, broad viewing angles, NovaStar receiving card, and RJ45 loop-through connectivity establish it as a configurable component for linked Philips L-Line 7000 Series displays. The cabinet is supplied with a two-year warranty.
